More Features

Gigabit Speeds:

· Belkin’s Cat6 patch cables support up to 1 Gbps (1000 Mbps) (100-1000BASE-T networks).

· Because it's Cat6, it handles more bandwidth than older Cat5/Cat5e.

High Performance Frequency:

· According to Belkin, their Cat6 cables “exceed 500 MHz in performance tests.”

· This means better signal integrity and capacity, which helps especially in more demanding applications (large file transfers, streaming, etc.).

Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP):

· The cable uses UTP stranded copper wires.

· Stranded wires make the cable more flexible than solid-wire versions — good for patch cables or places where you bend the cable, move things around, or travel.

Connector Quality:

· Uses RJ-45 male connectors on both ends.

· The contacts are 50-micron gold-plated, which helps resist corrosion and maintains good signal quality.

· There is an internal load bar to keep the wire pairs properly aligned through the connector, which helps maintain performance.
