Smartbuy Return policy

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, smartbuy will gladly give you a refund or exchange , simply return the product within the specified period of time in its original condition & packaging (including all manuals & accessories) along with the original sales receipt & original stamp. There will be a nominal charge for missing packaging, accessories or manuals. Your original receipt with original stamp is required for all returns, exchanges & warranty repair services. All returns & exchanges must be made in the smartbuy store of original purchase. Smartbuy reserves the right to request identification & to deny any return or exchange.

7-day Return Period

We accept returns or exchanges 7 days from the original purchase date on most products excluding computers, monitors, laptops, camcorders digital cameras. Certain exceptions apply.

14-day Exchange Policy

If your purchase is not returned within the 7-day refund period, you may exchange your purchase for most products up to 14 days after the date of purchase for store credit. Certain exceptions apply including computers, monitors, laptop computers, projectors, camcorders & digital cameras.

Promotional Items

Any product purchased with a promotional items included with the original transaction (e.g. buy TV, get free DVD player half of) cannot be returned.

Restocking Fee

A restocking fee of 25% will be charged on opened box items. Any item not in its original condition including box, wrapping, manuals & accessories may also smartbuy have to accept the exchange & refund.

Non-Returnable Items

Non-returnable items include labor and /or installation services, mobile phones, laptops, routers, camcorders, digital cameras, desktop computers, computer LCD monitors, LCD’s, LED, Plasma, CRT, MP3 players, memory cards, flash memory, hard drivers, computer memory, copiers, fax machines, printers, spare parts, accessories, personal care items & consumables such as inks, toners, drums, blank media, phone cards & prepaid cards, or items that are damaged or abused, opened computer software, movies, music & video games cannot be returned, any product purchase from smart home that is used cannot returned unless defective from origin. Any special order product cannot be returned unless defective from origin. Any item that goes on promotion cannot be returned unless defective from origin.

Note Regarding Personal Items or Data on Returned or Exchange Products

  • laptop warranty is on hardware parts not software programs.

Refund Method

Most refunds, if applicable, will be in the same from as original purchase. Cash purchase will be refunded in cash& credit card purchases will be refunded back to the same credit card used at original purchases will be refunded back to the same credit card used at original purchase if returned on the same day A 2% discount will be charged for any credit card purchases refund after 24 hours.

Apple Items

All Apple replacement are subject to 16% as sales tax & 30% customs. in case of any item exchange the exchange must be in the same purchase value or higher value.

Any refund or exchange after 5.30pm will be postponed to next working day We apologize for not being able to process any refunds or exchanges on Fridays and public holidays.
